How do I add a subscription?
Tap the green "+" button on any screen. Start typing the service name — SubWise suggests from 168+ popular services with auto-filled pricing and category. Adjust any details, then tap Save.
How do I edit or delete a subscription?
In the Subscriptions tab, swipe left for Archive and Delete options. Swipe right to Edit. You can also tap any subscription to see its full details, then tap Edit or Delete from there.
How do I change my currency?
Go to Settings → Home currency → choose from 50+ options. All totals across the app will convert to your new home currency automatically.
What is SubWise Pro?
A one-time purchase of $6.99 that unlocks unlimited subscriptions, AI receipt scanning, premium widgets, spending trends, CSV/PDF export, custom categories, and alternate app icons. It is not a subscription — you pay once, keep it forever.
How do I restore my purchase?
Settings → scroll to Legal → Restore purchases. If you previously bought SubWise Pro on any device with the same Apple ID, it restores automatically at no charge.
Is my data private?
Yes — completely. SubWise stores all data locally on your device. There are no servers, no accounts, and no way for us to access your data. If you enable iCloud sync, it goes through Apple's private CloudKit — only you can access it. We earn Apple's "Data Not Collected" privacy label because we genuinely collect nothing.
How does the receipt scanner work?
The scanner uses Apple's Vision framework to read text from a receipt or billing email screenshot. It extracts the service name, amount, currency, and date, then lets you review and confirm before saving. All processing happens on your device — no images leave your phone. Requires SubWise Pro.
How do I add widgets?
Long-press your iPhone home screen → tap "+" in the top-left → search "SubWise" → choose a size → tap "Add Widget." The small widget is free. Medium, large, and lock screen widgets require Pro.
Does SubWise work offline?
Yes. Everything works without internet. The only online feature is currency rate updates, which refresh every 7 days. Offline, SubWise uses the last cached rates.
Can I export my data?
With Pro, go to Settings → Export data → choose CSV or PDF. The export includes all subscription details and can be shared via email, AirDrop, or any method. Requires SubWise Pro.
