1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using SubWise ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What SubWise is

SubWise is a personal subscription tracking app for iOS. It allows you to manually record, organize, and monitor your subscription services. SubWise does not access your bank accounts, financial institutions, or payment providers. All data is entered manually by you or scanned from receipts using on-device processing.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. SubWise provides tracking tools and reminders but does not manage, cancel, or modify your actual subscriptions. Any actions regarding your subscriptions must be done directly with the service provider.

4. In-app purchases

SubWise offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase ("SubWise Pro") that unlocks additional features. This is processed by Apple through the App Store. SubWise Pro is a permanent unlock — there are no recurring charges. The App also offers optional consumable tip purchases that do not unlock any features.

5. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. SubWise cannot issue refunds.

6. Privacy

SubWise does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Currency conversion

Exchange rates are fetched from frankfurter.app, a free open-source API. Rates are approximate and updated periodically. SubWise should not be used as the sole source for financial decisions requiring precise conversion.

8. Receipt scanning

The AI scanner uses Apple's Vision framework for on-device OCR. Results may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing scanned data before saving. No images are transmitted from your device.

9. Notifications

SubWise sends local notifications as informational reminders. SubWise is not responsible for missed renewals, failed cancellations, or any financial consequences from missed or delayed notifications. Delivery depends on your device settings and iOS behavior.

10. Disclaimer

SubWise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that currency conversions will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SubWise and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

12. Intellectual property

SubWise — including its design, code, and branding — is the intellectual property of Zeeshan Ahmed. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes will be reflected here with a new date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
